5.19.06 ~ Grapes and Galleries ~ 5:30- 8:30pm ~ Wine tasting, delicious food, live music, & a chance to visit the art galleries & artisans of Historic Fincastle.  Sponsored by Botetourt Chamber of commerce, Fincastle Vineyards, Wine Gourmet, Three Little Pigs, Courthouse Cafe, Jake Cress' Fincstle Gallery, Mill Stone Gallery, Edward Bordett Art Gallery, blue katt gallery, Willy Simmons, and Porter Caldwell.  Profits provide educational scholarship to graduating Botetourt County high school seniors.

12.10.05 ~ Historic Fincastle Holiday Tour ~ Tour 15 buildings in the Town of Fincastle, including galleries, churches, and private homes.  10am-5pm.  Event includes a delicious buffet served from 11am-3pm in the ballrooms above the blue katt gallery.  The $25 tickets can be purchased the day of the tour at the Millstone Gallery (Main and Roanoke Street).  Profits support Historic Fincastle Inc. and the Botetourt Women's Town and Country Service Club.  More info at ww.historicfincastle.com.

10.28.05 ~ Travelin' On and Other Constant Changes ~ Final exhibit of Scott and Lisa Kattenbraker before they leave Virginia for Washington State.  6-9pm.  Come as yourself or in costume.  Show leaves by November 10th with the gypsy caravan.

10.29.05 ~ Harvest of Stories ~ Stories and local musicians in the ballroom above blue katt gallery.  Please consider a donation of canned goods for the Bot. Food Pantry and donations of $$ for Katrina Hurrican Relief.

9.29.05 ~ A visit by Democrat Leslie Byrne.  Leslie is running with Tim Kaine to become Virginia's next Lt. Governor.  Meet with Leslie from 5-6pm in the ballroom above the blue katt gallery

2005 ~ Jake Cress and Dreama Kattenbraker have collaborated on one of Jake's famous Hickory Dickory Clocks.  This clock is the first to include a hand-built stoneware face, painted wooden mice and a small "book" plaque displaying Jake's version of the old rhyme.  See the clock on exhibit at the blue katt gallery where it is for sale until October.  Jake is known for his unique and beautifully crafted wood furnishings that have a "twist" on traditional designs.  Jake's clocks are found in collections world-wide and are typicaly sold through places such as Sotheby's Auction houses.  www.jakecress.comDreama, owner of blue katt gallery, is a hand-built clay artist who enjoys creating characters and creatures.
